Sounds very logical to me; however I am really not that versed in arbitrage. Hope anyone could add to this topic.

Dave, with all the technical underpinnings being so weak on Friday and the way the market rocketed off the bottom it just did not appear normal. The DOW closed about 150 points off its bottom on Friday - now compare that with the PLUS 176 DOW point day we had previously and the technical underpinnings were much weaker on Friday.
