What about the K6-3???

I'm not sure what you really want to know. If AMD's plans are accurate the K6-3 will have a market life of about 4 months before the K7 comes out on their Slot A thingy.

The whole reason NSM wants a partner to do the SLot 1 is that NSM doesn't want to have to do the work for it when they know it will be changing every 6 months (Slot 2, and so on). NSM is being smart. They asked people (vendors) what they would rather see, Socket 7 or Slot 1. They said Slot 1. Why argue with that? I won't. If people want to buy your product if it is Slot 1 and don't want it if it is Socket 7, which would you sell?
