<MIDL has a CUSIP> I've done a little research to reinforce what seems to be reasonable to me. A forward split does not create a new class of stock and does not require a new CUSIP. According to my account statements 500 pre-split DANB CUSIP # 23833N104: after split 750 DANB 23833N104. Same CUSIP just more shares. A reverse split does not work the same since the old stock has been replaced by a new one worth more (theorteically) per share. Example is XCL 7500 shares XCL CUSIP 983702101 became 500 shares XCL(new) CUSIP 983701103 after 1/15 reverse split. Unless Arcon is issuing a new class of stock there is no need for a new CUSIP. The original release stated that the dividend shares would have a different conversion date and unless that is still true there is no reason to change the CUSIP. don't know what this means but FWIW it's what I've been able to learn.
