Hey Sid,

I just noticed that the MediaMax is designed around an IBM x86 processor (Pentium 1 clone, I think), not an ARM RISC chip. Any insight on why they didn't go with their own ARM-licensed RISC processor? That would have greatly increased the revenue from the chips crus itself is contributing to the Max: grfx, audio, modem, and TV out & DVD. An ARM RISC processor is probably worth all of those combined. Maybe they wanted to spread the "pain" to IBM and Philips in case the device tanked. What do you think? Thanks.
