How Safe Are Our Investment Accounts? ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~ John: For months now I've been pestering those institutions where I have investment accounts on their Y2k progress... I want to make sure my investment money is still there after 1/1/2000... Yesterday, when calling one of those institutions about the progress of their new Website, I was pleased to hear that there is a several month delay because they are working on the Y2k problem... And, a progress report will be sent out to all investors in the near future... This strengthened my resolve to continue being a pest with all investment institutions where I have money, the power company, the phone company, etc., etc., etc.... Jim
