Ken, others,

I stopped with all of it when I couldn't install Virtual. Have you gone ahead and brought your files up to date? The data disc I got is dated March 31, 1998. I guess I can just log on to the site mentioned and it will automatically bring my data current... is that all there is to doing this?

Apparently, some beta users were reporting conflicts between QP Virtual and Norton utilities. A beta version can be downloaded from:

qp2.com

along with an update to QP2 itself (which should be installed first). I've installed both, and it seems to work fine (I've tried SuperCharts, MetaStock, and OmniTrader). Kind of amazing really. I have noticed that my screen saver (and thus my system) has locked a couple times, but I've only been messing around this for a few hours.

Regarding data, the program disk contains additional data which updates the database, so you shouldn't be more than a couple days behind.

Hope this helps.
