Thanks for the link. It turns out one of my colleagues
participated in the research for the GEO destination
directed packet switched architecture. Hopefully,
Cyberstar will take advantage of the know-how SS/L
has acquired in this area.

Concerning the article in Barron's regarding satellite
systems, in spite of the customary cynical tone which
is part of the magazine's trademark, I thought it was
generally fair, with an overall assessment that in
the voice segment Iridium and Globalstar are likely
to be successful, and a relatively good assessment
of Cyberstar. Bernard schwartz's quote regarding the
''low-hanging fruit'' was also catchy. The dangers associated
to the Zenit's launches were also described, but as we
all know, these dangers are real.
