(Lehman getting 'increasingly comfortable' with LSI, also Gumport mentions STM as seeing a QtoQ increase in revenue - LSI will likewise also see a increase)

... and we are increasingly comfortable with LSI ($22;2) and CUBE ($19;2)

Of the major chip makers we cover, we note that STM is the only one in which we have confidence that 2Q98 sales will be above 1Q98.

-----

Not only will LSI see an increase in QtQ revenue but LSI's increase may likely be more than STM's (WAG) - so with the above statement, since he covers LSI, he must not consider LSI a 'major chip maker'... (or else he lacks confidence in LSI)... <g>

o yeah and chip stocks are cheap and the market has severely overcorrected and we should have a <strong> rally [yes even in the chip stocks esp. those like LSI] - only concern is the large caps which have not gone down - all those index funds....

figure I will keep repeating this every week from now till eternity until we see some of this silly fear abate and we get back to normal times....

there are oodles of cheap stocks out there....
