# 7 and climbing.....

So, in order for S. Korea to win a game they will have to reunite with N. Korea and play as one Korea? Hmm, next World Cup is supposed to be cohosted by Japan and the Koreas(both)???? If Korea (reunited or not)does not win a game in the next WC (notice how the host nations always get into an easy group?), they will blow their best chance by far.

In this World Cup they need a miracle to pull off a win...

Good point, I understand it is S. Korea and Japan, however, we are 4 years away from the WC and many, many things could happen, I personally would like to see the two Koreas come as one.

In addition, if the Japanese Banks and Insurance Co's do not clean their act fairly quickly, Japan, and possibly the entire Asia-Pacific "former" tigers, [more like domesticated cats now], may be in deep chocolate, hosting a World Cup may not be the best [econmic] medicine.

Having said that, it may turn out to be a good event to lift the spirits of their respective populations.

Let's hope that in the coming 4 years their economies turn around, the two Koreas become one nation, and every one lives happily ever after.....

Yeah right! Ranting again....
