Don't know how this will affect BETT, but.....This looks pretty serious. I think some more research in this area is in order. Is BETT considered online gaming? If so, & online gambling remains illegal in the U.S., BETT is doomed. (At least here) Maybe you can clear this up for me.

Gambling, whether for pretend money or real cash, has exploded on the Internet. Jon, a staff writer at the San Francisco Chronicle, has been following congressional attempts to ban U.S. access to all online gambling sites. The U.S. government does not regulate these sites, and often, no other government does either. Swartz believes that gambling online will never be legal here -- but he points out that the "legit" gambling industry will deliver online gambling sites should it become legal.
As long as gambling sites remain unregulated, player beware! Most often you don't know what the odds are that you are playing against (i.e, how often the house wins). And when operators of unlicensed sites are asked to prove that some people, at least, are winning, they always say they can't -- their winners are always conveniently from states where gambling online is deemed illegal and so to make their names public would be putting them in jeopardy. Swartz's advice about online gambling is straightforward -- don't do it.
