Just got "back" from my surgeon(s). My surgery is scheduled for the week of December 16. It seems that a surgeon has to undergo SPYN training for two days to become certified in the use of the device before they can do the surgery. GW Hospital had 3 surgeons trained last Thurs. and Fri. and the first time all 3 are jointly avail. for the surgery is the week of the 16th (will have a final date tomorrow).

They claim the surgery is real easy, refering to it as easy as a chief mechanic changing a spark plug. (These guys have huge egos, obviously...)

I'll let you know the results next month.
