Mike, I do not happen to be a bull on MU right now, but even you should know how to read a balance sheet. The fact is that MU has only $570 MM in "Paid up" Capital and has so far retained 2.9 Billions in Earnings. For such a relatively young company fighting it out with deep pocket NEC and the Government supported Korean trio, I would say it is not too shabby. I have seen much worse priced much higher. They have a formidable task staying in this business (including having to spend another billion on equipment etc. between here and the end of the century.), but, I would not mothball (or mostek) them yet.
