Russell 2000 Index closed below its 200-day moving average - a bearish sign, an indication that many of the small cap stocks are down substantially. Next level of support is at 435. 30-year Treasury bond yield closed at 5.66%, slightly below January low. Lower yields are likely to provide support to stocks.

How much farther can the tech stocks go down before we see a bottom ?

Can the drop in interest rates be enough to to stall the trashing of the tech stocks ?

We know that sales are soft at this time and this is the excuse the traders are giving for this down market . But that being said , I believe that there are many good companies that are being trashed today that will be real winners in the next up market .
