You (and Victor) are looking at AMZN as a traditional company. I think you are failing to take into account that we are witnessing the birth of a new era where the internet is changing all the rules.

You may be right, but the bottom line is a company has to be profitable to continue as a going concern. They have to have positive cash flow until they can produce a profit. As soon as they run out of financing option for this new era, they can file chapter 13 and start all over again with someone elses money, but the original inestors will be SOL.. Cash burn with only on financing option left. Issue stock. You can't issue stock forever...

It always cracks me up when I talk to someone who is going to buy a stock trading at 20 cents that has recently filed chap 13, saying "how low can it go?" After all the company is still in business... HEHE.
