DJ ... the article about the 'possible' Micron-TI deal was interesting .... illustrates how divorced from reality some of these analysts are ... eg. Bill Strauss of Forward Concepts saying that because the DRAM market may come charging back next year (and it may if some of the weak players like MU drop out) TI has a 'tough decision' to make as to whether to sell its DRAM operations .... earth to Bill, earth to Bill, come in Bill ... oops we seem to have lost him ... management at TI made this 'tough decision' a long time ago ... they are gone, it's just a question of finding buyers ... and MU is not a buyer, not a real buyer (no cash, stock is grotesquely overvalued) ... IMO the only way a so-called 'deal' is going to happen is if TI pays MU to take over the assets ... why not just close 'em down and write 'em off instead?

'hey, it is only an inventory correction, right (the Lehi warehouse manager)?'

regards, Mike
