That is very interesting! What was he protesting? Was he arrested and sentenced? I did not see that (remember it was an Iranian TV broadcast). That explains why there was such a dropoff in Australia's performance after the second goal, I thought that they naturally felt that they had this one in the bag. Still no killer instict. Too bad, they clearly were superior that day and deserved to be here. Good luck in 2002.
