Hello Infoman and Gull: It is quite apparent you 2 are company shills
for DeBeers and it is regrettable that you continue to air the injustice
that you say Southernera perpetrated against the Heirs. The truth of
the matter is I hold several diamond stocks., and am getting quite tired
of this charade of arrogance. You see., your little antics not only affect Southernera image., but the confidence level of small junior
company seeking to expand its asset base. I own Southernerna.,
I own Rex., I own Aber., I own Diamet., I own Mountain Province.,
I own DeBeers., and just about every major diamond stock., with
potential.
I would suggest that you take into consideration the fact that other
individuals holdings are probably being affected by this continual
bantor., name calling.
If those shareholders of Southernera want to reclaim their thread and
there integrity I would suggest they concentrate on the 50Km of great
dyke potential that is in Southernera fold., M-1 presents a delay.,
in the inevitable., that being Southernera will be a major diamond producer in the years to come along with Aber.,, Diamet., Rex., Mountain Province., and a few others.
DeBeers may control the marketing of diamonds., but will not be a
major producer in the 21 Century. Angola., Sierra Leone., and Canada
will be the forces of the future. DeBeers tenacles are long and this
charade being perpertrated on this thread plays well into their long term objectives being to maintain control of the diamond marketing.
worldwide. Just a signal that DeBeers wants to play hard ball.?
Well., I view you and your buddy as instruments as well, have accomplished in a public forum what I view DeBeers long term
goal and that is to depress share prices., of competitors. The fact is
if the diamond market was not a monopoly DeBeers would be in a very shifty enviroments., seeing the only deposit of merit is the Jwaening., the Orapa and others are marginal deposits with little pricing strenght. 112 million carats of production of which 36mil is supplied by the Argyle does not support an expansion of the Orapa.,
which is low gem quality marginal stones. So DeBeers has no alternative in a fluid market., where low quality desposits are the rule.,
and little pricing strenght in a contracting demand scenario near term.
Maybe DeBeers ought to get out of diamond production completely
seeing they are better at stealing deposits than creating them. Leave
the Diamond Explorers to do what they do best., find economic deposits of merit., such as Aber., Diamet., Rex., Mountain Province.
Oh by the way Mountain Province kimberlite field was known to contain multiple pipes., i knew that in 94., Debeers likes to take the
credit however., very big of them dont you think.
If you think my motives are biased., well they are., because individuals like you and your buddy do nothing for the industry perception on a global scale. I own all of the above for various reasons., so either way., I will come up on top., get my drift.?:
I forsee hostile takeover attempts by DeBeers as their long term objective with the threat of deregulation of the diamond market inevitable. The crack in the shell., is Abers reluctance along with Diamet to join the cartel., direct marketing of diamonds to the New
Market. DeBeers can brand their diamonds all they want., but in the
end., Angola., Sierra leone., will be providing stones of exceptional
quality and size., something which DeBeers cannot produce currently. The niche players will be well insulated in the year 2000
unless DeBeers makes dominant offers to the above. The cracks
are forming., the inevitable will happen. The producers of large
gem quality stones will benefit over the course of the next 10 years.
The market is strong in the US weak in Asia. Rex has proven their
ability to generate impressive sales in an Asian downturn. Must be generating those sales to the wealthy Americans eh?
Whether you two represent the interests of heir., DeBeers or have a
patent on branding., I could care less., but do feel that both of you
are harming the image of diamond explorers worldwide., and the market does agree on that point.
Have a nice day., and bantor on., dont expect a reply to your remarks., I dont have the luxury to sit by and destroy companies in a
public forum like the paid shills do.
Good Day.
