Hi LL >> Do you get the feeling I hate MS?........ <<
Nah <g>, but I like my manifesto better:
Someone asked me why I feel the way I do about a certain company in Redmond Washington, and it's impact on the IT industry today. I felt a good way to express my opinion in a rational, calm, and non-libelous way was to let it be known for all to choose to come here, my answer to that question. So...
My personal manifesto
Regarding Microsoft (The entity)
I don't like Microsoft's overbearing Borg-like attitude and monopolistic business practices, especially extorting exclusive OS and Suite preloads, hijacking open industry standards into proprietary versions for unfair competitive advantage, and coopting nearly all popular computing press into intellectual prostitution. I also don't like Microsoft's ill-designed, bug-ridden, and over-hyped PC software. It's not prejudice. I've adopted this opinion from observing Microsoft's actions for many years. My point of view is not uninformed, but a studied conclusion.

Now this IMVHO is even more true <sic> today than ever. Did you read about how they are now "spitting JAVA". I.E., they will market thier JAVA compiler, get the developers, and hook it (obviously) to only the Windows API, and thus effectively kill it.
What was it last week? Oh Yeah, the NetPC, right!
Rock and Roll (or is it "Lock and Load"?) LL -- "Windows Everywhere"!!
