Thanks for the input on layoff effects. I am worried if this spreads, that it could be the trigger everyone has been waiting for to end this fantasy market. The concensus around everything I read seems to be, "if the world is falling apart, no one cares as long as the liquidity keeps coming into the market". If there are mass layoffs in the "upper income" tier, that could dry up the money. I guess you are correct in that if other areas are needing people, then layoffs might be temporary.
