Friday, June 12, My wife and I attended the Money Show in Chicago. At Morningstar's booth I picked up a complimentary issue of their StockInvestor research report. They are well known for their coverage of mutual funds but they also follow some stocks (Morningstar Value 450); one of them being Rainforest. They report Rain's intrinsic value as $20.63.

They define intrinsic value as the value "equal to all the cash the underlying business will generate over the course of its life, adjusted downward to account for its riskiness."

Also, we dined at RAIN (Woodfield) before we went home. My wife and I arrived about 5:30. It was about 2/3 full, service was great, and the food, as usual, was superb. Our server said the Bulls game is responsible for the light crowd; however by the time we left (6:15), our Cafe was almost full. Our receipt number is 30971.

Let Dennis and I know when you will be coming to Chicago.
