Don, Hmmm... I'm not sure there's much more to say about the event in Galilee. According to Luke, Jesus starts His ministry by implying He is the Messiah. The eschatological implications of the Messianic event are, as yet, unfulfilled. I once had more interest in "the end"; however, it just seems to be a quagmire of interpretations. I still enjoy the poetry of Revelation; probably for the same reasons I enjoy Dante's Inferno more than Purgatorio or Paradiso. Also, I just recently picked up a copy of I Enoch. You consider yourself to have a personal relationship with Jesus. I do not, so I don't experience the same rapturous joy as you might when reading about the beginning of Christianity. Sorry. There is one interesting point that has just occurred to me... Do you believe Jesus intended to start a church? Greg
