zteck you are as articulate as ever.. and jwk i appreciate your post. i am gung ho and holding (even buying) but sometimes i think we are singing to the choir.. we are all here.. (SI) because we are technically oriented and believe in this medium ( we wouldn't have plunked down our visas to post on this thread if we weren't).
i am hoping that the export import community is presently as technically oriented as we are to appreciate this tool that has fallen into their lap, instead of the typical exporter i know (chickens and cat food) that are ,as zteck alluded, hanging on for dear life to their existing technology.(unlike cad where you could draw in a vacuum and put out .dxf files all day... this site for the most part needs two to tango)
As with any business being viewed from the outside.. it is difficult to see the critical elements that really make it work.. It seems from my discussions with these people that their business is almost more human that technological..the nuances of trading.. Since i am long on PNLK..and i know that this will be an extremely valuable tool for most of the industry in the future (hopefully very near)
All we can do is talk about the site to those who can use it for their benefit and let this smoldering fire catch a real blaze.
...and if glen and the group keep the faith... it will..
