I also don't know much about candlesticks, but happened across a site which purports to interpret them for us. It's still in beta form, but they are allowing people to sign up for free until beta test is completed; then there will be a fee, following an additional fortnight's free evaluation period.

FWIW, they did not consider Friday's trading to be bearish. Last trend reversal was a Bullish signal on May 26th.
