Stephen, I don't think it is fair of you to speculate that margin calls have "already happened". You do not know the details of the personal finances of these people, nor what their investment strategies are. Additionally, the Rule 144 exception is not illegal. Additionally, all of the people at BioTime have been very careful about adhering to all of the rules, they are not about to do do anything which would evoke even the slightest controversy. Please do not over think this, nor cast any suspicion, where none exists. Stick to debating the profitability of Hextend, there you can speculate until the first earnings reports come in.. Re: the FDA easing the rules on "off label" uses.. this is what I have been saying to you all along. You might want to rethink your earnings projections for Hextend based upon being able to use it for other purposes (I even used the phen-fen example if you recall).
