I can think of a good reason for a buying spree..... If they burn up their cash coffer in this way....they no longer have the DEEP POCKETS that every State, lawyer, etc is after today. "Sorry but we don't have that kinda cash on hand....so, looks like you'll have to sue me again for it cuz I ain't got the $$$$$"
