From what I have read about Communicator, you can only do this if you already have Office 95 or 97. Office documents can be opened inplace as Active (X) Documents.

Guess what... You can do that TODAY with IE3 or even Navigator with the NCompass Plug-in. And if you only want to read access, you don't even need Office, just the FREE viewers that MS puts out.

If this is being touted as a big advantage of Communicator, I am unimpressed.
