Lane, SMIF has dramatic particle/yield control benefits, it will likely be used in all future fab designs since it acts as a barrier to the human interface and makes for easier automation. Asyst (ASYT) is a leader, there is also a German/European version but I can't think of the company that manufactures it. I expect SMIF to become the defacto standard of all 300mm+ fabs since automation will be key to handling the larger wafers. BB
