I, too was skeptical regarding Vivek and any other alleged stock picker on SI, AOL, Prodigy, or the net in general. See some of the first posts on this thread.
However, I (we) can gleen investment experience from anyone and everyone. We can see what works and what doesn't.
I check Vivek's picks every so often and have noticed that there is definitely some validity to his picks.
Most people overlook that in certain markets, day-trading can be highly profitable. For example, 6-8 point daily movement on USRX can be highly profitable. And, assuming you have the time, much more profitable than long term investing while it churns in a trading range.
I respect that his success or failure is archived for future reference.
I don't see how his age has any relevance. I don't care who the messenger is, only the message.
Check out Viveks' picks, if they work, go with it (there is no need to reinvent the wheel) If they don't, remove his bookmark as I am sure your time is as valuable as anyone else's here.
