Claus, chickens and cows are two totally different propositions. Anyone who would fool around with a chicken is obviously a pervert. At least cows have breasts, and more than two! Also, you can go to a big and tall shop and buy clothes and dress up a cow. I'm short GTW currently, so I hope it cracks. DELL is a better company, but should get hit.
PS: how did you end up doing on TXN late last year. I ended up cleaning up, but so far this year I'm gettin spanked on my investing. Bearish on YHOO and AOL, the wankers; the only short positions I didn't cover 11/97. Just started a new job and everyone there seems to be rabid bulls on YHOO, which has me wondering b/c my profession (actuary) is generally populated by the genius type. The other day I was talking to buddy at work who's invested in CMGI. His position is c. 2,000 bucks I think, and his rationale for buying and holding is that in his opinion in 10 years its sure to be worth 250K. Hopefully the bear is near. Feels like last October in a number of ways: even more importantly, imo fundamentals are starting to very significantly veer from the charts. |
