She remembered the ostrich feathers that Kevin W. had intended to tease her with. Seeing the chicken with his scrawny legs and scratchy toes, she decides she'd rather eat a chicken than sleep with one, so she quickly pulls on the TEDDY and the jacket and leaves the two men alone in the doorway. Remembering the crumpled note, she returned briefly to take that too.
She hailed a passing cab and enters. "Take me home to my apartment. 103 West..." she says, but the cab driver doesn't let her finish. "I know where you live." say the driver, and Muffy recognizes her co-worker Norma who moonlights as a cabbie to pay off her margin account, which had recently ballooned out of sight because Norma had shorted FBNA just before the stock skyrocketed. In the front seat with Norma was jhild. Norma and jhild used to date, but Norma dumped him because of his cheatin' heart. Norma had caught jhild and CatLady in a compromising position. Ever since, jhild had been trying to get back into Norma's good graces. But Norma was not in a forgiving mood that night.
Muffy paid the fare to Norma and left the cab. She didn't want to hear anymore of the arguments between Norma and jhild. She went into her apartment and sat on the chair. After a few moments, jhild knocked on the door. Muffy arose and let him in.
jhild was crying because he now knew that it was over between him and Norma. He cried on Muffy's shoulder for a few minutes until he realized that she was wearing only a see through TEDDY. He allowed his eyes to wander, seeing things that he knew he shouldn't. He felt passion rising within him.
Muffy was doing her best to console him and thought she detected a change in his attitude. jhild's tears didn't seem real anymore. He was no longer crying. He used his powerful arms to pin Muffy to the sofa.
jhild gently kissed Muffy on the lips. Muffy felt his passion. This was the sixth time today that she had her womanly instincts awakened, and no satisfaction for her biological urges had yet taken place. She decided that jhild would be the one.
Parting her lips, Muffy forced her tongue towards jhild's waiting lips. Reaching down, jhild removed Muffy's TEDDY and allowed it to drop gently to the floor. Lips still entwined, jhild removed his own clothes and leaves them in a pile on the floor.
Sweaty bodies intricately entwined, the two passionately writhed on the floor. jhild picked up Muffy and gently placed her on the sofa.
