I think that CNBC does need to have a "Opps" segment where they comment on "errors in judgement" on some opinions. Realistically, people who discuss stocks on CNBC usually state if they have a position in the stock or other financial they are discussing, but are still just giving an opinion. You are still responsible for doing your own homework before investing. I think there are lots of day traders that bounce in and out on anything mentioned anywhere and that is freedom of choice.
