Ken,

Try experimenting with different refresh rates on your display adapter under Windows advanced settings (in Win'95). It will affect the brightness and contrast of chart display in Q+R1 more so than in any other charting programs I use. A faster refresh rate sometimes helps. Failing that, try different screen resolutions (desktop areas).

I'm using 1280 x 1024 on a 19" at 72khz refresh with good results, but 1024 x 768 seems to display better even at slower rates. Results are based on specific card and monitor synergies.
