Aki, I think this is a technical rally. It looked like the selling pressure dried up Friday afternoon. Despite the gloom in the Asian markets money is flowing into the beaten-up large cap semi-equips. It is interesting to note that AMAT is not really participating strongly in the rally. It was not beaten down as far as the others. I don't really do any rigorous technical analysis and I sure the thread would welcome other opinions (as would I). Dave
