Investor Relations Today said We are busy with the Earnings announcement

I called them Monday AM and asked:
Can you tell us anything about the purpose of this SEC 8A filing?
Can you tell us anything about the timing of the announcement in relations to the earnings report?

I got the impression that it was a legal Department action about which investor relations hadn't been preped.

I asked them to say something. Doesn't sound like they said much to Reuters.

This probably says more about how PR is handled at Novell than anything else. The right hand doesn't want the left hand to know what it is doing.

For those of you that followed Doctor Doom, aka Henry Kaufman. In WSJ today he says a stock market crash can only be prevented by the Fed and depends upon the US defending the value of the dollar to prevent the outflow of funds.

Sounds to me like Henry smells the end of economic growth here in the US, with capital chasing better investment opps elsewhere.

Other than Novell, and a bit of AMD, I'm outta this market.
Joe are you still holding that MSFT?
Its doubly fun to badmouth a company whose stock makes you money.
Work for me Bill, work for me. But you better dump it!!!
