Gary, on the Nortel conference call, an analyst asked what advantage the combined Nortel/Bay had over CSCO and LU. After some deliberation, the response was "higher reliability", along with a reference to MCI's frame network being similar in size to AT&T's. So it looks like Nortel wants to compete with CSCO on reliability.
