Can this Colombian rise to the occassion? Probably not, Escobar's ghost is over them and make their legs too heavy. They played much better in the second half but they were not good enough. Romania has a very strong team again. That Iliev player is a real talent. Good fair win for the Romanians. Both of my sentimental favorites lost today, will we make three in a row?

If Colombia can rise this group may be the real group of death in this WC.

z, I hear you about the hooligans. What a sad sad story, they are ruining this beautiful World Cup. Time to take some real steps to combat it. On top of a two year mandatory jail sentence, how about this: For the next five years, every gameday the hooligan must report to the central gate of the stadium where he was arrested, wear a sign over him saying "I am a stupid hooligan, spit on me". All people passing by spit on him until the game is over. Fathers tell their kids as they are watching the show: "Look kids this is what happens when you become a hooligan". To anyone who wants to take more than one spit he/she will have to pay extra and the money will be given to the victims of his hooliganism and a fund to combat soccer violence.

Either that or a public execution will do just fine...

Anyway, something must be done...This cancer must be eliminated once and for all.
