Charles, You are generally correct. Diesel is about $1.60 at the pump. A lot of local tax however. Produced locally in one of two refineries. I did a preliminary check. According to state environmental agency, not enough waste oil to justify a green machine. Navy is able to recycle some of its oil into boilers. However, I understand that generators pay local collectors $1.00 a gallon for disposal. So one may not have to have a fully operational machine to make it pay. Aloha, Don
