Hi Freeus,..Re:<<How does a "workstation": differ from having a computer>> Speaking from an engineering perspective, the workstations in our office were either designated for the drafting people or for the R&D people. In any event, they were elaborate PCs. For the drafters, the workstations were outfitted with larger monitors, extensive graphics interface and were attached to a dedicated server. For the R&D people, they were more configured for both advanced graphics and more advanced computing capabilities. Hope that helps Lee
