Muffy thought back over her years with Daddy Mensa. Having been protectively isolated for the first 8 years of her life, Muffy had no knowledge of human sexual relations other than the reproductive information she had read about in her caretaker's books.
One day, Daddy Mensa's caress awakened her feminine feelings and desires. She learned a lot that day. Daddy Mensa knew a lot.
Afterwards, as she lay cuddled in his big strong arms on the sofa, she asked him about his life outside the orphanage. He told her about the cold, cruel world. How everybody takes advantage of the innocents who have no protectors. That frightened her, as she was aware she had no experience in the outside world. Tentatively, she asked if he would be willing to take her in as her protector. Without hesitation, he said, "Absolutely!". As she fell asleep in his arms, he was already planning his next actions. He would set up an apartment for her; take care of all her needs; make her dependent on him. Then, he would send his buddies over for a fling. He'd have the perfect setup. Almost pure profit.
For the next few years, Muffy lived a horrible life. Being used and abused by her visitors. It was these years that she now has nightmares about.
Several years later, Muffy had become wise to the world. She began collecting tips from her visitors. She was good at what she did. The tips mounted up quickly. Before long, she had over $50,000 in cash. She abruptly cut off her relationship with Daddy Mensa and went out on her own to face the challenges she was confident she could meet.
Little did she know that Daddy Mensa at that exact moment was trying to repay his debt to society for the sins he had perpetrated on this young girl. He decided to go search for her birth parents. He didn't notice she had left the apartment for almost a week.
Muffy was bright, but uneducated beyond the training she received from her caretaker "father".
Her curiosity led her to the library, where she knew her beloved caretaker had borrowed so many of the books she read as a child. She browsed the shelves. She read all the magazines. Her interest was piqued by an article about "SI" being acquired by "Go2Net". Intrigued, she asked the librarian's assistant to show her how to use the library's computer. Before long, she was hooked. She read about investing tips and techniques. She heard about the "Y2K" problem, and the many companies involved in the fix.
An advertisement in the back of the WSJ promised a great career in the financial services industry. She called the 800 number. Muffy was on her way.
One week later, the correspondence course materials arrived. Muffy started studying the materials that would mold her into the person she is today. |
