"It is interesting to note that AMAT is not really participating strongly in the rally. It was not beaten down as far as the others." AMAT had a really strong rally late on Friday, after being waaaaay down. It looks to me like the others are just following AMAT's Friday lead. Or, looked at another way, the disparity between AMAT and the rest of the sector, which happened on Friday, is getting evened out today.
