Mr. jmt

I feel that you and I are on the same general train of thought. But, I feel that small investors
should not have to consider aspects in estimating the price of the stock that Dr. Hirschman must
consider in projecting revenue.

Obviously, Dr. Hirschman has to project revenue along with sustaining that revenue in light of all
types of business risks, e.g., competitive products or discoveries. He has to do this to ascertaining
the growth of the company and plan for research, development and production requirements in order
to continue to exist profitably and remain competitive. He could do a bang-up-job with planning but,
it is the investment public along with actions of the greedy market makers that will have the major
say in the price of the stock. And this can completely overshadow any business or competitive
contemplations used to project share price.

IMHO, these type in depth contemplations, even though they are necessary for the well controlled
growth and profitability of a company, are just too much for the investment public to have to consider
in making simple [but maybe incorrect] projections of share price.
