Home with the stomach flu yesterday and today. Was able to watch the market action, as a result. LOL! What a market it was!

Auric: I assume that the dyno was legit and that what you are seeing is either a motor or a brake on the output shaft to load the engine so that data can be collected at a number of engine operating conditions. If it is an electric motor then the engine output energy is transformed into current that is dissipated across a resistance. The power is then a function of current squared times the resistance. If it is a brake, then a load cell will read the force at a given radius from the output shaft centerline to get power information, which will be equal to shaft velocity times the force reading times the radius where the force reading is taken.

The dyno will not look like some of the pictures you may have seen where an entire car can enter the dyno and be tested. All you need is a way to load the engine and measure the output power at a number of operating points.

By the way, I hold no position in this stock, neither long nor short and never have.

Another assumption I always make about people in general is that what they are saying is true. This is usually a correct assumption. And it leads to less paranoia and a more peaceful life, I find. Mr. Shelby probably really believes in this engine. Mr. Goldfinger, you probably really believe that this stock is way, way overpriced based on what you know about these things. Me? I believe that the engine hasn't proven itself and that we don't really know what the strength is of any pending patents. It will be interesting to see how all of these factors play themselves out over the next months and years.

All the best to you,

-Sword
