Explain how the Meat Trust, Rail Trust, Steel Trust, Oil Trust, etc. were advantageous to the economies of their day? Agreed, that these were far more influential to the economy than Microsoft is, but their prime business practices have begun to look similar.

These people did more to wreck the economy with their stock-market antics and mismanagement of resources than most people realize.
