"Isn't this typical of the modern world," Muffy thought. "Technology creates as many problems as it solves. I wonder how much I could sell this thing for. Do I know anyone who could advise me on this matter?" An annoying whimpering sound hampered her thinking processes, but soon her twinkly blue eyes lit up. She had an idea! An expression that could only be described as a combination of greed, lust, puzzlement, horror, love, catatonia, nausea, wigginess, sympathy, fear, and low blood sugar played across her regular features. ("Regular" if you didn't count the extraordinarily exaggerated flare of her left nostril or the teeniness of her right eye.) Muffy ran out the door, not thinking to take her purse, or even to lock the door behind her. She carried with her only the laptop computer.
