It is a great Day trading tool...being able to see all the market
makers and determine the trend of a particular NASDAQ stock. I don't
have this service any more, but still do some day trading and doing
alright with just real time quotes. Yesterday, shorted NVLS at 62 1/4
and covered at 58 1/2. A negative to NL II, besides price, is that sometimes you have too much information..and one can panic because of the volatility on alot of the stocks with market makers constantly shifting bid and ask prices...especially when a stock you own has a 'glitch' and temporarily drops. So basically, if you are not constantly day trading, in my opinion, it's not necessary.
