After the Close: Micron Electronics (MUEI) 10 7/8 -7/8: direct market of PCs posts a fiscal Q3 profit of $0.06 a share, two cents ahead of the First Call estimate, vs year-ago net of $0.20 a share; sales fell 33.4% to $340.8 mln as company shed its contract manufacturing unit; PC systems sales fell 16.9% to $317.65 mln from a year-ago..... Who would've guessed MUEI could provide + news in the midst of a tech meltdown. Will wonders never cease...
