Like a moth to the streetlight, I am compelled to comment on this. >It was a strangely violent place to me, with rifles, shotguns and handguns everywhere, and people drinking beer while they drove.< I'm seeing an implication that the mere presence of guns is enough to qualify for violent. Guns don't deserve such prejudicial treatment. Guilty until proven innocent? ok I'll be quiet now
