janice--thanks for the positive reply and your current comment about the
restraints of the "QUIET PERIOD".
i believe the maain issue for the fourth quarter is the dirrection of sales.
what concerns me so much about this quarter is that it was in novell's best
interest to speak positively about the acceptance of 4.11, if in fact it , it
occured. merangi would know this shortly after the end of the quarter and could
have easily made a positive comment about this at any time up to and including
his recent interview.
instead, we get releases about offering NDS as an open standard and no confidence
builder about the direction of sales!!!!
i dont mean to beat a dead horse, but as a shareholder, i expect management
to do everything to maximize sales and present a positive and realistic
position to its customers, employees and shareholders.

i can only conclude that sales will be more than mildly disappointing, and,
if by some miracle, they are good then i would wonder about why this wonderful
opportunity to speak about a positive direction in sales was not done sooner.

IF THE RIGHTS OFFERING SHOWS AN INTEREST BY MANAGEMENT REGARDING BEING PURCHASED AT A LOW STOCK
PRICE, THEN,IN MY OPINION, THIS IS INCONSISTANT SINCE MANAGEMENT APPEARS TO
HAVE MISSED NUMEROUS OPPORTUNITIES TO ACCOMPLISH THIS!!!!!

WE'LL ALL KNOW REAL SOON---GOOD LUCK TO US ALL
