(2) Could it happen here.(Canada or USA) We are all familiar with the following two. - Fahrenheit 451, by law, all books must be keep at this temperature. - 1984, by law, the only thoughts one may have is "got milk". The follow are excerpts. Read the book to learn the ending. "....The day started cool, the rain finally stopped...in the distance one can see children playing next to the abandoned building...as they have done every year, Leigh and Ronald Smith will hoist Old Glory outside their Winchester condominium today in honor of Flag Day. Unlike previous years, they will not have to pay a fine because the newly-elected board of trustees at the condominium voted to allow the Smiths to fly the flag on patriotic holidays....but on other days, they will be breaking the bylaws, and will be fined.....their campaign to get a state law, then a federal law, giving all residents the right to fly the flag of their country, whenever they want to......
