SOROS --- The carnage you describe is NOT confined to Y2K. Look at COMS and a host of others. I have dropped more in the past few weeks than many people earn in a year. I am not happy but cannot blame others for my holdings or the mkt. I have bailed all but 1 Y2K (not this one either!)and am still on a limb. IMO the mkt is way oversold and will be back. The phrase IMO is the same as any other BS but what I believe. I believe COMS will see 30 soon also --- hopefully I am correct as I have a ton bet on it,,, but not more than I can afford to lose on it or many other tech issues..... all bought by me, some brought to my attention by others that thought they would do much better than they have done BUT I agreed and bought.....no one told me to or twisted my arm. I will not call them names or be derrogatory as I did the buying! As you stated you are speaking out of turn IMO -- unless some one bought this puppy for you, twisted your arm, or kwpt you from bailing at a comfortable level..... If I am speaking out of turn I am NOT sorry,,(besides - you addressed your frustrations to me),,, just feeling the same pain on different issues. The last thing I would do is bring a post such as this to a friend that may look here as much as I do--- next to zero! I wish you and all the holders of this one luck,,, and may we all see a turn soon,,,,but remember it took those holding in '29 eighteen years to get back to even.... I am seeing many people that should be in CDs hurting as they believe the mkt OWES them 30% no matter what they buy--- those days MAY be over and time to become issue picker not just buyers... |
